There are at the moment only two competitive and official "pay to search" providers.
First is MyHomepageFriends, who was former MySearchFunds. Note, due to change in terms of their partners they have recently limited their services to United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia only. They are paying up to £0.03 GBP per search, and pay you out via PayPal when you reach £20 (yes, these are pounds, not dollars). They were first in this business and are long known to be paying well. They even offer three levels of referrals revenue. Sign up here.
The other such "search for money" program, a relative newcomer, but with a useful social note and professional nonetheless, is Scour. You earn 3 points per search up to 300 points per day. You also get 25% of points your friends earn, and you can redeem 6,500 points for $25 USD, which is achievable in under one month without any referrals. Unfortunately, their services are limited to US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Spain. Other countries may also apply. Check here.
